Procedure to submit Passport Application Online
Step 1: Create an Account at their online portal by visiting this link.
First fillup the Registration form and click register and a confirmation mail will be sent to the given email-id.
Next, open your mailbox and click the confirmation link sent from Passport Seva.
Up Next, you need to put your email id to confirm the registration completely.
Step 2: Login to your account and Apply for Fresh Passport or Reissue of Passport
(Note: You have to put capital letter in every captcha image)
Click the link to fill application online. Other methods are also possible but we are not going to discuss about that.
You can apply for Fresh Passport or Re-issue, normal or tatkaal and number of pages you require.
Just fill this up and click next.
Give Applicant Details and go Next.
Next add Family Details and click Next.
Mention your Permanent Address there and click Next.
They require you to provide an emergency contact, fill-up them and Next.
Two References, and go Next.
If you never applied for any passport before click no otherwise fill as required and go next
Some Other Details and go Next again.
Finally, Agree to the agreement put Place and Date and Submit Form.
If you have submitted your application successfully you will see this message.
